The team

The people who keep the lots honest

From the founder and chairperson to finance — a direct line, not a distant sales desk.

Board, farmer partnerships, and the long view.

Jeanne founded GMAC Coffee in 2012 and chairs the board — more value from origin, stronger traceability, and a fairer path for the women who grow the coffee.

Steven leads operations, buyer relationships, and the systems that keep lots traceable from Karenge to export.

DI

Finance Assistant

Divine Irakoze

Invoices, records, and follow-up.

Divine supports finance day to day — invoices, records, and the paperwork behind every shipment.

Seasonal team

90% women on the beds

Harvest work at Karenge is carried by women who sort cherry, turn parchment, and keep the drying honest. They are the wider team behind every bag.

The work you can still taste

Click a scene to read who is in it — mill, beds, and the cupping table.

Women who turn the harvest. Seasonal work on the raised beds is mostly women. They sort, turn, and watch moisture until the parchment is clean and stable.

The station team. Cherry is floated, pulped, and fermented the same morning it arrives. The mill team keeps the lot notes attached from tank to bag.

Cupping together. Sample roast, score, and talk. Quality is a conversation between the station, the lab, and the people who will roast the coffee.

01

Quality first

Cupping, moisture checks, and lot notes stay attached from the bed to the bag.

02

Farmers at the centre

Partner hills and women producers keep the harvest honest — and keep the story true.
